About NxtGenSec

NxtGenSec is a cybersecurity training platform built around one idea: you learn security by working problems and explaining your reasoning, not by watching videos. Every module on the platform is authored content written for this platform, and every point on the scoreboard comes from a real completion by a real account.

How grading works

Exercises attach tasks with short answers. Answers are hashed and compared entirely on the server — the expected value is never sent to your browser. Completing all tasks on an item marks it complete and awards its point value once.

Labs and scenarios in beta are methodology and evidence exercises: you reason over recorded target profiles, logs and code, rather than attacking provisioned infrastructure.
